oo-er....

Call me pessimistic, but I really don't think "Hi I have the PET result which I would like to discuss with you - G" is going to be good news.

Watch this space. And if anyone could pop round to give me a tranquilliser shot that would be nice.

19.2.09 - go to GP about neck lump
25.2.09 - go to haematologist about neck lump: examination and blood tests.
27.2.09 - see ENT surgeon who tries a fine needle biopsy (didn't work because there was blood in the sample so it couldn't be used) then goes "Well how would you like to come in next week for a biopsy under GA?"
5.3.09 - biopsy under general anaesthetic
13.3.09 - (FRIDAY THE 13th!! grr) back to ENT for diagnosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma. Then to haematologist to discuss chemo
16.3.09 - CT scan for staging
18.3.09 - results of CT staging - stage IIa Hodgkins
25.3.09 - PET-CT scan (better staging and info about exact sites of cancer)
26.3.09 - chemo starts yippee(!)
9.4.09 - chemo #2 cancelled due to low white cell count GRR.
14.4.09 - rescheduled chemo #2
27.4.09 - chemo #3
11.5.09 - chemo #4
26.5.09 - chemo #5
8.6.09 - chemo #6
29.6.09 - PET scan in Manchester
2.07.09 - PET results are NEGATIVE! yay byebye cancer
16.7.09 - radiotherapy planning session
22.7.09 - radiotherapy starts
11.8.09 - radiotherapy finishes
